In 2016 a majority of voters voted for unionist parties – 51.16% against 48.49% for independence parties.
Despite this unionist vote majority, unionist parties were only allocated 60 seats (46.51%) in Holyrood, whereas pro-independence parties on a minority of votes received 69 seats (53.49%).
Tactical voting is the only way to oust the SNP from government, and the best way to reduce the number of independence-supporting MSPs. The SNP has only enjoyed 14 years in power because the unionist vote has been split between the three Westminster parties. As long as the unionist vote splits threeways, the SNP will continue to dominate Scottish politics.
We need to #VoteSmart & #VoteTactically to remove the SNP.
